Boiler Room Series Announces Full Company of WOMXN on Fire Festival

February 26, 2018: This March, Keegan’s Boiler Room Series will turn up the heat for six local womXn playwrights, six local womXn directors, and a host of actors with the return of the newly named WOMXN on Fire Festival. Building on the success and audience feedback of last year’s festival, this year the festival will feature six staged 10-minute plays and two full-length solo shows during WomXn’s History Month. Out of over 160 submissions, we selected 36 artists to participate in the festival. Check out the full lineup below:

What’s the Boiler Room Series?

The Boiler Room Series at Keegan, named after the old boiler room of the pre-renovation Keegan Theatre, is a bold programming initiative that focuses on the development of new works and the producing of unique performances.  The name speaks to the two-part mission: crank up the artistic heat on new works in progress and let loose the creative voices of tomorrow’s theatre.
