Mt Olivet United Methodist Church:  Mt Olivet Players

The Mount Olivet Players produce a show each season that is directed and designed (from concept to construction) by Keegan company members. The money raised by the production is put toward the youth group’s annual Habitat for Humanity trip – in 2009, the Mt. Olivet Players’ production of The Real Inspector Hound raised more than $20,000 for Habitat. The young people involved in these productions give us precious feedback about how the show has changed their lives – they grow as actors and people under the guidance and care of Keegan staff. This program is also a testament to how arts and religious organizations can work together to develop a love for the arts and a spirit of service to others.

Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington:  Chalice Theatre

Chalice Theatre was founded in 1997 by Keegan Artistic Director Mark A. Rhea, Donald E. Wright (then Keegan Executive Director), and Trudi Olliveti for the purpose of putting on intergenerational plays, whereby youth and adults work side-by-side with members of a professional theatre company to produce a Broadway-style musical every year that is suitable for families to attend and serves as a learning experience as well as a way to raise money for worthy charitable causes.
