Holly Hassett spent the majority of her career managing the government relations department for The Hershey Company, a large, publicly traded, food and consumer goods manufacturing company after working on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Assistant for several years. Since her retirement from Hershey in 2002 as a corporate officer and Vice President of Government Relations, Holly has worked as a Consultant, Board Member and Advisor providing strategic guidance to corporate, trade association and non-profit clients to influence the political process on a broad range of public policy issues. After her lobbying career, Holly became involved with organizations focused on young leaders, education and literacy including The Posse Foundation, Higher Achievement, Room to Read, the Washington Ireland Program and the South African Washington-International Program where she focused on fundraising. Holly is very active in attending theater in the DC metro area. Holly graduated from Denison University in Granville, OH, with a BA in Economics.
