Matthew Keenan was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. He is a graduate from the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin and a proud company member of both The Keegan Theatre Company (Washington, DC) and the Classical Theatre Company (Houston, TX).

Matthew made his directorial debut at Keegan Theatre with Peter Coy’s A Shadow Of Honor and is the playwright of Keegan Theatre’s An Irish Carol.
