About the First Annual KeeganConnects Tour
The KeeganConnects WEST BY GOD tour of West Virginia brings a socially important play to a region with a burgeoning arts scene, bolstering the local artistic community and engaging audience members in both DC and Appalachia in a critical dialogue about perception and humanity.
Following its world premiere in DC in September, WEST BY GOD travels to West Virginia as the pilot project in the KeeganConnects tour. Performances play at Marshall University in Huntington over two weekends, with audience talkbacks and community engagement events offered in collaboration with other local theatres and non-profit organizations. Playwright Brandon McCoy and select cast members are also conducting theatre workshops and community outreach events throughout the run, and the tour cast features a Marshall University student, Neely Seams.
Performances January 17, 18, 19, 24 and 25 at Marshall University’s Joan C. Edwards Performing Arts Center
