The Keegan Theatre is a 501(c)(3) organization of national repute whose primary purpose is to produce high quality professional theatrical productions in Washington, DC, with secondary initiatives aimed at increasing arts access for youth, playwrights, and audiences.
Founded in 1996, Keegan purchased its Church Street home, in the vibrant Dupont Circle neighborhood, in 2013 and undertook a $4.4M renovation in 2015. Our $1.5M income is funded primarily through ticket sales, individual contributions, and foundational grants, with the majority of our budget devoted to mounting professional productions in DC.

• Four tickets to any performance in the season*
• A commemorative gift memorializing the season and/or one of this year’s productions*
• Opportunity to host a personalized Keegan backstage tour for up to 10 guests
• Special recognition in production playbills, webpage, and lobby signage
• A public acknowledgement at all opening night toasts and select events in the 2024-2025 season

Your donation will go to Keegan Theatre’s new work initiative, The Boiler Room Series (BRS), which supports the development of new plays and musicals. BRS facilitates the search and development of more new works each year, including workshops, staged readings, and fully-realized mainstage productions.

• Exclusive invitations to a workshop, open rehearsal and/or reading
• A public acknowledgement at all BRS events
Your donation will go to support the Keegan PLAY-RAH-KA (PRK) education program fund and support programming that fills the void of high-quality dramatic arts education in D.C. schools through educational opportunities and theater productions for young people.
