The Cornley Drama Society is presenting its newest production, THE MURDER AT HAVERSHAM MANOR, but things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. This 1920s whodunit has everything you never wanted in a show — an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines). Nevertheless, the accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences! Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, this Olivier Award–winning comedy is a global phenomenon that’s guaranteed to leave you aching with laughter!

Many things can make a play go wrong, but what or who, exactly, makes a play go RIGHT? Join Keegan production staff members from across multiple seasons for a post-show discussion about the backstage jobs and artists — often the unsung heroes of the theater — who make the show “go right!”
Broadway World Review
“Refreshing summertime theatrical fun! Director Michael Innocenti moves this play along with fierce speed and dexterity as the stage comes alive with both verbal and physical comedy, pratfalls, and farcical high jinks… [it] takes off like a burst of comedic fireworks.”
DC Theater Arts Review
“Keegan’s spiffy production offers a frothy antidote to the heavy cultural battles playing out across the DMV this summer. Duck inside Keegan’s delightful aerie on Church Street, cool off, and enjoy a generous helping of the very best kind of human folly.”
Hill Rag Review
“It takes a dynamic cast to handle this much sustained and energetic action. Director Michael Innocenti has done a bang-up job of wrangling [these actors]. Without exception, everyone excels at making a series of catastrophic mistakes look utterly professional.”
Metro Weekly Review
“Keegan Theatre’s spirited cast embraces every onstage disaster with expert comic timing and unwavering commitment… the timing and execution of the play’s many mishaps are hysterically on-target, as is the precise choreography of the cast’s gag-a-minute slapstick, swooning, and swordplay.”
