This community event features performances by Keegan PLAY-RAH-KA students, the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington’s GenOUT Youth Chorus, Jennie Cat, and other local artists, plus a KidZone with activities for young people, a special PetZone sponsored by Doggy Style, and food donated by neighborhood favorites Annie’s Paramount Steakhouse, Agora, Duke’s Grocery, Pupatella Neapolitan Pizza, and the Roaming Coyote Food Truck! Together, they will delve into the emotional and legal journey of holding perpetrators of hate accountable, the personal stories of those who stood up against violence, and the transformative power of storytelling and activism in shaping public memory.
