The Tennessee Williams classic feels like coming home to husband and wife team Mark and Susan Rhea, who played the lead roles at Keegan in 2001.
Starting this Saturday, patrons will enter the theater through a new glass and steel atrium, walk up the atrium’s bright staircase and take a seat in one of the new burnt orange chairs to watch the opening of famed Tennessee Williams play, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.”
Each Monday in January, La-Ti-Do, newly housed at James Hoban’s Irish Restaurant and Bar on Dupont Circle, will feature Keegan veterans singing around the piano or spinning Irish yarns.
Last night, The Keegan Theatre’s fourth annual production of An Irish Carol met a full house ready to experience the play’s impressive reputation … “An Irish Carol” was a joy from start to finish.
Keegan Theatre’s Church Street home may be still under construction but the show must go on. The show is Keegan’s annual seasonal offering An Irish Carol.
